ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

Mindset is everything.  Carry your weekend vibe into Monday morning, Eagle Nation.  We had some great action this past weekend, so make sure to check out the scoreboard and highlights.  Check out the schedule, as we are action-packed over the next two weeks.  Don't forget Homecoming 2026 is right around the corner.

HIGHLIGHTS

Volleyball Highlights

Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team on advancing to the Gold Bracket of the Burnt Hills Tournament on Saturday after defeating Smithtown West and Niskyauna in pool play, then falling to the #1 seed in a heartbreaking match against Cornwall, 25-18, 18-25, 13-15.  Kiera Allen led the way for the Eagles in the tournament as she racked up 49 Kills, 5 Aces, 39 digs, and 4 blocks.  Amelia LeClerc added 12 kills, 6 aces, and 21 digs.  Emma Menge picked up 10 kills and 4 blocks, while Estelle Hall added 7 kills and 2 blocks.  Sammy Becker added 9 kills and 4 blocks, while Sadie Stead anchored the defense with 42 digs.  Kristina Becker added a kill, 3 aces, and 31 assists, while Kenzie Gardinier added 3 kills, 5 aces, and dished out 42 assists.  The Eagles are back in action Tuesday as they travel to Loudonville Christian.

Golf Highlights

Congratulations to the Golf team on their second win of the season and first league win, as they defeated Duanesburg, 8.5 to 6.5.  The Eagles were led by Andy Miller, who picked up his 5th win of the season and 4th league win, pushing him to 4-0 and 5-0 on the season after shooting one under on Friday and earning his fifth sectional qualifier.  Matt Jones also picked up a win and his second sectional qualifier of the year.  Cody Lanka picked up two points for the Eagles with his win.  Leah Jones picked up her first career victory by shooting a 52; she also got two points for the Eagles.  Rex Gardinier earned the Eagles a half point.  They are back in action today as they host Schoharie

Boys Soccer Highlights

Cobleskill traveled to Galway in this WAC matchup. Cobleskill dominated possession throughout the game, but Galway's defense, led by goalkeeper Hayden Flint's 24 saves, kept Galway in the game for 68 minutes of this 80-minute contest. Cobleskill scored first 5 minutes into the game, and it would remain 1-0 until an unfortunate handball in the box by a Galway midfielder led to a PK that was scored, making it 2-0 with 12 minutes to play. Cobleskill would keep the pressure on and score 2 more to finish the game with a 4-0 win.
