ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

Fifteen, twenty, or twenty-five years later, the pain of absence remains, but so does our enduring love and memory. We will never forget the tragedy of September 11, 2001, or the profound sorrow our nation shared. On the anniversary of 9/11, say words that honor the victims, thank first responders, and affirm that the nation will never forget the lives lost.

Fridays remind us of new beginnings. Take today as a chance to reset and find peace, EAGLE NATION!  We are almost at the first week of the school year.  Just a few more hours.  We got this!  There was some great action on the pitch last night and on the volleyball court.  Check out the highlights below.

School sports photos are on Friday (9/11) after school.  Athletes received order envelopes today at practice, so please check with them to make sure they fill them out and bring them on Friday.

HIGHLIGHTS

Volleyball Highlights

The  Varsity Volleyball team opened its 2026 season with a league road win at BKW, 25-8, 25-11, 25-15.  Kiera Allen and Courtney Smith led the Eagles with 7 kills each.  Allen added 4 aces, and Smith added 3 aces.  Samantha Becker chipped in 6 kills, 3 aces, and 9 service points.  Kristina Becker and Kenzie Gardiner each dished out 10 assists.  The Eagles move to 1-0 in the league and overall and pushed their league winning streak to 98 straight games.

  • The JV Volleyball team won their league opener last night with set scores of 25-15 and 25-23. Mara Allen led the way for the Golden Eagles with her strong serving performance, while also leading the team in assists. Aria Ruggiero led the team in kills, Emma DiPasquale led the team in blocks, and Gracyn Symonds led the team in digs.

Girls Soccer Highlights

The Girls Varsity Soccer team dropped a league game to Cobleskill-Richmondville yesterday evening. Despite taking an early lead off a Norah Schaperjahn goal, the girls ultimately fell 1-4. Keeper Lily Bain tallied 15 more saves to the season. The girls are back in action Monday night as they battle defending WAC Champions Schoharie under the lights.
