ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS
Tuesday morning brings you the promise of transformation and a fresh start. Make the most of it, EAGLE NATION! It was a quiet night for athletics last night and again tonight, but we do have the Senior High Winter Concert tonight. Also, TEAM SPORTS are tomorrow after school. Please make sure your athlete has their envelope and uniform with them tomorrow. If no school tomorrow, we will plan to do Sports Photos on Thursday.
We have a lot of action over the next two weeks, so make sure you get out and support our Eagles.
Old Man Winter is here, and he has brought bitter cold with him for the foreseeable future, so be sure to dress warmly. He is also bringing snow tonight and tomorrow. Will Mr. Miller bless us with a second snow day this week? Stay Tuned, Eagle Nation. According to botanists, berries are simple fruits that stem from a single flower with a single ovary and typically have several seeds. This includes kiwis, pomegranates, eggplants, and even bananas. Strawberries, despite their name, stem from a single flower with more than one ovary, which makes them aggregate fruits along with raspberries and blackberries
Remember, keep it classy, Eagle Nation!
Fun fact of the day: Wind is actually silent. What we hear is the wind blowing against an object.
Did you know? The world record for limbo skating, a sport where you roller ski under cars, is 6.94 seconds for limbo skating over 50m. This world record was set by Shrishti Dharmendra Sharma from India.
