ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS
It's Wednesday. You're halfway to the weekend, EAGLE NATION!  Agriculture is the most healthful, most useful, and most noble employment of man. Congratulations to the Cross Country team on their third-place finish at the WAC Championships and to all the All-Star selections.
Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team, who earned the number 1 seed in Section 2 Class C.  They will host the winner of Greenville and Coxsackie-Athens here on Friday at 5:00 p.m.  Hope you all come out to support them.
Fall sports are quickly coming to an end as most seasons have already wrapped up.
Make sure to get out to support the Eagles with what's left.  Check out the schedule below.

HIGHLIGHTS

Cross Country Highlights

Yesterday, the Galway XC team participated in the WAC League Championship Meet in Fort Plain. Ailey Nelson came in 6th in the girls' race. She and Amelia Jordan were WAC League All Stars and received t-shirts with that designation.  Way to go!!!!

The Varsity boys' team came in 3rd place, missing 2nd place by 7 points. Fonda came in 1st and Mayfield came in 2nd. Nathaniel McDevitt was first across the line for the Galway boys in 15th place, followed by Gabe Mele in 16th.

The top 10 in the modified races earned a ribbon. Henry Pasieka Won for his 5th-place finish, and he had a PR on the course.  Elizabeth VanNess earned a ribbon for her 10th-place finish.  

The modified season has now concluded. Wish the Varsity team members well as they gear up for Sectionals.
