ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS
Hello, Happy Tuesday! Remember, every day is a new opportunity to start fresh and make the most of your potential, EAGLE NATION!  Remember, life is simpler when you plow around the stump.  The cold weather is creeping in, so be prepared as the calendar and time change this weekend. Good Luck to the Varsity and Modified Cross Country teams as they attend the WAC Championships today in Fort Plain. Sectional Seeding for Volleyball will be out later today, so we will keep you posted. Fall sports are quickly coming to an end as most seasons have already wrapped up. Make sure to get out to support the Eagles with what's left.  Check out the schedule below.

Congratulations to Kiera Allen, as she was selected by the Times Union as one of the Best of the Week in Section 2 Athletics.
Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball Team, as they are the #3-ranked team in Class C in New York State



Congratulations to our very own Simon Evans, as he finished 7th overall for Daemen at the East Coast Conference Championship at Sunken Meadows Park in Kings Park on Long Island.  Simon was also selected for the 1st team All-Conference.  His team finished 2nd overall, falling to ten-time defending Champion Robert Wesleyan.


Fun fact of the day:  The hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth was 134°F. The recording was taken in Death Valley, Nevada, in July 1913.


Did you know?  Every ball used in Major League Baseball is dirty. Each baseball is wiped down with mud in order for pitchers to get a better grip.

Volleyball Highlights

Congratulations to both Modified Volleyball Teams for ending their season with 2 wins against Middleburgh last night. The 7th-grade team upset an undefeated Middleburgh team by beating them in 3 sets, with scores of 25-13, 16-25, and 25-13. Ava Grisanti had 7 aces, 1 kill, and 1 dig. Scarlet Hall had 4 aces and 2 digs. Gracie Gregory and Cara Cornell both added 5 aces, while Kiyah Brower and Maddie Meilunas both had 4 aces. They end their season with a record of 5-8. The 8th grade won in 2 sets with scores of 25-15 and 25-18. The team was led by Jill Bickford, who had an amazing 12 aces and 1 dig.  Brooklynne Taylor chipped in with 4 aces, 1 dig, and 1 assist. Lily Chevalier added 2 aces, 2 assists, 1 kill, and 1 dig.  They end their season with a record of 8-5. 

Great work this season, Eagles!
