ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

Happy Wednesday, EAGLE NATION! Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.  Life on a farm is a school of patience; you can't hurry the crops or make an ox in two days. It looks to be chilly over the next few nights, so make sure you are bundled up if you are out and about.  The Varsity Girls' and Boys' Soccer teams got their Sectional Seedings yesterday.  Make sure to come support them.

 The Girls' Varsity Soccer Team is the #11 seed in the Section 2 Class C Sectionals this year.  They'll travel to the #6 Seed Maple Hill on Friday (10/24) for a 3:00 p.m. start at Maple Hill HS.

The Boys' Varsity Soccer Team is the #14 seed in Section 2 Class C Sectionals this year.  They'll travel to the #3 Seed Cairo-Durham on Thursday (10/23) for a 7:00 p.m. start at Cairo-Durham HS.

Make sure to get out to support the Eagles as the Fall Sports season is coming to an end.  Check out the schedule below.

HIGHLIGHTS

Volleyball Highlights

Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team as they defeated Canjo-Fort Plain in a WAC league match last night to stay undefeated in league play, 25-15, 25-22, 25-17. Kiera Allen led the way for the Eagles with a double-double of 23 kills and 17 digs.  Courtney Smith added 10 kills, and Taylor Garrison had 8 kills.  Kenzie Gardinier and Kristina Becker each dished out 18 assists for Galway.  Galway moves to 12-0 in the league and 13-1 overall.  Galway hosts Holy Trinity on Thursday as they go for their 10th straight league title.
  • JV Volleyball defeated Canjoharie-Fort Plain in two sets with set scores of 25-19 and 25-18. The team was led by Harleigh Hill with 8 kills and 5 aces. Gwen Ahsmann added 8 assists for the Eagles while Rylie Glenn added 15 digs. The team moves to 10-1 in the league and 11-4 overall.
