ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

We have turned the calendar to October, the leaves are changing colors fast and starting to fall; it is also a chilly morning, EAGLE NATION!!!! No matter where you are in life, if you let love and kindness be your guide, you'll always find your way.  Also, remember, don't count your chickens before they are hatched.  We had a lot of success on the athletic fields last night, so check out the highlights.  Tonight, our Girls Varsity Soccer team holds its Pink Game, so please come out and support them and their effort at 4:15 p.m. on the Varsity Soccer Field.
Thank you to everyone who came out last night to support an incredible scoreboard dedication in honor of Jaden Ruggiero.  Thank you to everyone who made this donation and ceremony possible.
The action continues this week on the court and fields, so check out the entire Fall Sports schedule below.

Remember, keep it classy, Eagle Nation!

Varsity jackets are on sale for only a little bit longer.  Please order ASAP if you are looking to get one.

Fun fact of the day:  Candles were once eaten in famines. They used to be mainly created from beef fat or beeswax, and they were often stolen in famines.

Did you know? Until 1913, Goalies did not wear different colored shirts from their teammates.

  • In 1932, during game three of the World SeriesNew York Yankee Babe Ruth made his famous “called shot” when he pointed to the center-field bleachers in Wrigley Field and then hit a home run to that spot; the Yankees defeated the Chicago Cubs and went on to win the championship.
  • In 1961, American baseball player Roger Maris hit his 61st home run of the season, breaking Babe Ruth's record.
