ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

TGIF EAGLE NATION!!!!!!  We made it through the first week of school.  Remember, you're responsible for the energy of your day.  When you give off positive energy, you also attract it.  Make sure to check out the highlights of last night's events, as we had some exciting games.  It is looking like you'll need your umbrella when you leave the house tomorrow.  Fall Sports are starting to ramp up, so check out the schedules below, and make sure you get out to support our athletes.

We have started the sale of our Varsity Jackets early this year, so we can end the sales in early October, and will be able to have them in time for Christmas.  Please see the link below for registration.

Homecoming week is the week of September 22 - 27.

Team Sports pictures will be on 9/10, so please make sure athletes have their uniforms that day.  Envelops will be going home with students today.

We are looking for more girls for Modified Cross Country and Girls' Modified Volleyball players.  If you haven't already, please register on Family ID.

Remember, keep it classy, Eagle Nation!

Galway Athletic Booster Club
The Athletic Booster Club would like to share a major fundraiser that is currently happening.  We would like all athletes to be active in selling regardless of what sport or season they participate in! Order forms and payment should be completed by 9/11 so that we have time to get our order finalized and over to the greenhouse.  The mums will be delivered on 9/18, which is also the date of our next booster club meeting!
In addition, we are looking for volunteers for homecoming as well as for donations! The Athletic Booster Club needs to continue to replenish funds to be able to support ALL of our STUDENT ATHLETES!

Fun fact of the day:  Humans are the only animals that blush. Apparently, we're also the only animals that experience embarrassment, too. This is because it's a complex emotion that involves understanding other people's opinions.
