ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

Happy Wednesday! Midweek is not a hurdle; it’s a stepping stone. Use today to climb higher, dream bigger, and turn your aspirations into achievements Eagle Nation!!!  Temperatures are falling again and will turn even colder next week, so make sure you bundle up. Our busy week of athletics continues as we turn into the home stretch of the winter season with only 4 1/2 more weeks to go, so make sure you check out this week's and next week's schedules below.  Varsity jackets are expected to be in at the end of the week.  It is Coaches vs. Cancer week on the hardwood at the Eagles' Nest!  Tonight is our Boys JV and Varsity Basketball Coaches Vs Cancer night! The boys take on Fonda tonight at 5:30 p.m. Shirts will be sold at games and a donation made in memory of a fellow student who will never be forgotten - Jaden Ruggiero 💛.  We've had several schedule changes, so please keep checking our schedule updates below.  Last night was a Full Moon, and tonight we are still at 97% visible.  Only 64 days till Spring and just 27 days until Spring Training begins with Pitchers and Catchers reporting or MLB.  Remember to keep it classy Eagle Nation!

HIGHLIGHTS

Girls Basketball Highlights

The Modified Girls Basketball hosted BKW in a battle last night.  BKW jumped out to a fast 8-2 start, but the Eagles slowly chipped away.  Still trailing after three quarters the Eagles finally broke through in the 4th quarter to take the lead and hold on for a 21-18 victory.  Gwen Ahsmann led the way with 8 points on her birthday.  Kenzie Gardiner and Avery Menge each added 4 points.

ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Alek Holman

Alek Holman is one of the hardest workers at practice. He is a team leader and role model for the rest of the modified boys' basketball team, and he has a strong work ethic and attitude. He understands and promotes the "we is greater than the me" philosophy. He also had a great game in the first game against BKW this week, playing hard defense and scoring 13 points.
