ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

May your Tuesday be filled with triumph, EAGLE NATION! Last night's JV and Varsity Girls' Basketball games were canceled due to horrible weather up north, but both our Modifieds got their games in, so check out the highlights below.  Get your orders for the Booster Club fundraiser ASAP as that wraps up this week.  Tonight is the Senior High Holiday Concert.  Come out for a fun-filled evening.   More rain tonight and through tomorrow, so make sure you get those umbrellas out. 

  • There are only 9 more school days until Christmas Break!

HIGHLIGHTS

Boys Basketball Highlights

The Modified Boys Basketball Team used a tough defense to hold the Mayfield Panthers to 4 first-half points then held on for a 30-19 win to move to 2-0 on the season.  Issac Schaperjahn led the way with 20 points and Jacob Page added 5 points.

Girls Basketball Highlights

The Girls' Modified hosted the Mayfield Panthers last night as the Eagles held on for a 25-21 victory over the Panthers to move to 1-1 on the season.  Katy Ferguson led the charge with 8 points.  Avery Menge added 7 points and Gwen Ahsmann chipped in 6 points.  The Eagles shot an impressive 72% from the line. 





ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Kiera Allen

Kiera is averaging 25 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks per game over the first three contests this season. She hit the go-ahead free throw with 7 seconds left to lift the team to victory over Mayfield on Friday. Kiera is a quiet focused competitive leader on and off the court always supporting her teammates. She often encourages them in practice and games. Kiera was also “caught being golden” singing the national anthem before our home contest last week.
