ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

TGIF, EAGLE NATION!!! We made it through the first week of December and are inching closer to the shortest day of daylight. Make sure you are bundled up and careful on the roads as they are a little slick still. Stay warm tonight Eagle Nation as temperatures will be bitter cold overnight and into the morning, so why not come to the athletic events today and tomorrow so you are inside staying warm? The Boys JV and Varsity host Whitehall tonight. The girls' JV and Varsity travel to Mayfield tonight. Check the action on Saturday and Sunday below.



Did you know?  Wrestling is one of the world's oldest sports, dating back to before 3000 BC. It was a prominent feature in ancient Greek literature, philosophy, and legend, and was a focal sport in the ancient Olympic Games


In 1986 University of Miami quarterback Vinny Testaverde won the 52nd Heisman Trophy.  He finished his college career with over 6,000 passing yards and 48 touchdowns

Wrestling Highlights

Varsity Wrestling opened its League season last night in a tough loss to CFP.  Both teams finished with 36 points, but CFP won on the tie-breaker as they had one more pin than the Eagles.  Andrew Grupe (108), Kia Denisulk (145), and Michael Crisalli (152) all picked up pins for the Eagles last night to win their matches.
