ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

It's Wednesday Eagle Nation!!!!!  We are halfway there. The Cross Country team traveled to Fort Plain yesterday for the WAC Championships.  The Varsity and Modified Boys' both finished in 2nd place, 


The Volleyball team received the number 1 seed in the Section 2 Class C Sectional Tournament.  The Eagles will host a quarterfinal match on Friday at 5:00 p.m. vs. the winner of Greenville/Hoosic Valley.  Come out to support!


Today is National Candy Corn Day! 


On this date in 1974, Muhammad Ali knocked out George Foreman in the Rumble in the Jungle, and in 1485 Henry Tudor was crowned king of England. 




Winter Sports Sign-ups are now open for all Modified, JV & Varsity Winter Sports on Family ID.  Please register on the link below:

  • Eagle Nation, as you sign up for Winter sports, please make sure to upload the latest physical on the registration and check with Nurse Horne should you wish to verify that we have the updated physical.
  • School physicals will be on November 13th (Wednesday) during the school day.  If needed, please get the paperwork in by the 8th as we are off on Monday.

      • 11/01 - vs. Greenville/Hoosic Valley Winner @ 5:00 p.m.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

Cross Country Highlights

Last night at the WAC Championships at Fort Plain Galway had the following results:
  • For Varsity Girls: 
    Amelia Jordan came in 13 which qualified her to be a WAC League All-Star. 
  • Elenor Douglas finished 22nd
  •  Mikaela Meilunus finished 24th.
For Varsity Boys:
  • The team came in 2nd behind Fonda with a 34 to 48 score.
  • Simon Evans and Trevor Bombard came in 1 and 2 
  • Cody Schneider came in 12th
  • All three qualified to be WAC League All-Stars.
  • Brayden Sheft, Nate McDevit, and Jacob Burchac all finished in the top 20.

The Modified Girls 
  • were incomplete but Ailey Nelson came in 5th and Jaylyn Jones came in 13th.

The Modified Boys 
  • Came in 2nd with a score of 40 to 59 behind BKW.
  • Issac Schaperjahn came in 2nd
  • Gabe Mele came in 4th
  • Micah Hollis finished in the top 20.
