ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS

It's everyone's favorite Spirit Day. It's Flannel Day EAGLE NATION!!!!!! Get your rain gear ready again for this afternoon as it will be wet at game time after a night and day full of rain. It is Spirit Week and Homecoming Weekend, so make sure you spread the word. Our Sports teams are in full non-stop action as the week moves along, and we finish the week off Saturday night with Fireworks after the soccer games.

Today is National Pancake and National Johnny Appleseed Day. Pancakes for breakfast and some apple pie after dinner on this rainy day sounds like a plan. Today's Golf match with Duanesburg has been moved to October 11th. Boys' and Girls' Modified Soccer Teams host Cobleskill-Richmondville today. The Varsity Girls' Soccer team hosts Johnstown, while the Boys Varsity Soccer travels to Johnstown to play under the lights. The JV and Varsity Volleyball teams travel to Middleburgh. The Modified Volleyball team hosts Loudonville Christian in a scrimmage.

Girls Soccer Highlights

The Modified Girl's Soccer team had yet another thrilling game as they battled Mayfield in a tight and back-and-forth battle as the game went into overtime. In overtime, Taylor Reome found the back of the net to break the tie and give the Eagles a 3-2 victory. Josie Squared was at it again as Josie Venditti and Josie Price each scored in regulation. The Eagles move to 4-0 on the season.

Golf Highlights

The golf team fell to Schoharie last night 10-5. Andy Miller broke the 40 mark shooting a 39 and picked up two points for the Eagles as he won his match and shot another qualifying round. Jake Page also picked up two points for the Eagles winning his match shooting a 58. Ward Sherman also shot a 58, Matt Jones shot a 51, Cleighton Schaperjahn had a 67, and Cody Lanka picked up a point by shooting a 51.

Boys Soccer Highlights

The Varsity Boys' Soccer team was back in action last night as they hosted Granville. The Eagle struck first and kept the presser on all game, and picked up a 4-1 victory. Tyler Friedman led the way with a Hat Trick (3 goals). Eli Montague added a goal on a header and also picked up two assists.

The Modified Boys' Soccer team battled at Mayfield in the rain last night before falling to the Panthers 3-0.
