Galway Central School District proudly welcomed a new group of students into the National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) during a special induction ceremony celebrating academic achievement, leadership, service, character, and citizenship.

Membership in NHS and NJHS is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon middle and high school students. Students are selected not only for their outstanding academic performance, but also for the positive contributions they make within their school and community. Through their actions, these students exemplify the qualities that both organizations seek to promote and recognize.

During the ceremony, family members, faculty, staff, and community supporters gathered to honor the inductees and celebrate their accomplishments. Students were recognized for their commitment to excellence in the classroom, their willingness to serve others, their leadership among peers, and the strong character they demonstrate each day.

The National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society encourage students to continue developing these qualities through service projects, community involvement, and leadership opportunities. As members, students will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to both Galway Central School District and the broader community.

We are incredibly proud of all of our newly inducted NHS and NJHS members. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to making a positive impact have earned them this well-deserved recognition. We also extend our congratulations to their families, teachers, and mentors whose support and encouragement have helped these students achieve this important milestone.
