ANNOUNCEMENTS/TODAY'S EVENTS
A little progress each day adds up to big results. Make it happen this Tuesday, EAGLE NATION! There seem to be a lot of tired people walking in the halls this morning. Hopefully, we will start to get back into a groove as the day progresses. There is a chance of ice and snow starting early this evening. Be safe if you are out and about this evening and night. Hopefully, this weather warms up and melts everything off quickly. There was some great action on the hardwood last night. Make sure you check out the highlights. The Modified and Varsity wrestling teams host a meet tonight, so come on out to support them.
Mr. Kirvin was so excited to see everyone yesterday! He even called me to tell me how excited he was to see everyone. He also wanted me to remind everyone that he's playing in the Teachers vs. DJ's game in March, and he promises a dunk this year!!!!!

It looks like Old Man Winter will be back at it this evening and overnight into the morning. It is looking like an old-fashioned winter. Hopefully, we have a January thaw soon. Think Spring!
Corn is used for over 4,200 purposes, such as: Hand Soap, Medicines, Cereal, Paints, Glue, and many more.
Remember, keep it classy, Eagle Nation!
Randall Syracuse Ticket Raffle
Eagle Nation, we are looking for your help!!!! Tragedy struck an athlete's family in our league, and we are helping the Canahoharie Booster Club sell raffle tickets to a Syracuse Men's Basketball game through our Booster Club. One of the Canajoharie players, Senior Dillan Randall, tragically lost his step-mother, Braylynn Fahy, in a car accident on December 1st. Dillan is the same player whose father was killed last January in a tragic accident while repairing his mailbox. Dillan and his two younger brothers, who attend Fort Plain, have suffered unimaginable loss in less than a year, losing both their father and mother/stepmother. To show our support, we are joining forces to raffle off four tickets and a parking pass to the Syracuse versus North Carolina men's basketball game on February 21st (flyer attached) that were graciously donated by Empower Federal Credit Union! Tickets are $5 each and will be available for purchase at all home games or by reaching out to Coach Glenn (mglenn@galwaycsd.org). The winner will be drawn on February 13th at halftime of the Galway Varsity Boys at the Canajoharie Basketball Game. The winner does not need to be present to claim the tickets! All proceeds from the raffle will be donated directly to the family. We have 100 tickets to sell, and I am hoping we can sell all 100 to help support Dillan and his family!

Fun fact of the day: Mr. Kirivin teaches spin at the YMCA!!!
Did you know? The name for three consecutive strikes in bowling is called a turkey.
