I’m honored to have been chosen as your new superintendent. I feel like a student on the first day of school and am excited about getting to know your school and community.
In the short time that I’ve been here during my transition into this position, I’ve noticed the variety of quality programs and activities along with the commitment to the district’s mission of meeting the individual needs of all students. We will continue to build on this rich and strong foundation. This summer, the administrative team will collaborate with the Board of Education to develop district and building goals that align with the work already underway at the district.
We will also continue to oversee the $5.7 million Facility Improvement Project that was approved by voters in December. Approval from the State Education Department is expected by the end of the year and construction is set to begin in the spring. We don’t plan to have any interruption to our academic program.
