The Galway Community Education Foundation is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that was started in 2009 to benefit the students of Galway Central School District. Since its inception, over $30,000 in grants have
been distributed.
The Foundation raises money through charitable contributions and
fundraising events including an annual golf tournament. All donations to the Galway Community Education Foundation are tax deductible.
Membership in the Galway Community Education Foundation is free, and new members are always welcome.
For the past few years, the Galway Community Education Foundation made it possible for six elementary school age children each year to attend summer camp for one week. The children experienced dozens of activities including a high-ropes course, rock wall, team and individual sports, mountain biking, crafts, and waterfront activities such as canoeing, kayaking, tubing, water trampoline, and launch pad.
